Chesapeake Bay Garden Club members once again generously gave their time and shared their creative skills to support the Northumberland Association for Progressive Stewardship (NAPS) Annual Fall Social and awards event. The dinner/social was held on Saturday, October 26, at the Bay Quarter Shores Community Club House, located on the Potomac River in Heathsville, to honor Ida Hall, a local waterwoman and environmentalist. Ms. Hall was presented the 2019 Northumberland Distinguished Citizen Award. Garden club members designed and set up the table centerpieces and decorations.

The creative team included Jerry Jenkins, Wonda Allain, Sharon Stieber, Debbie Boze, Linda Hixon, Darlene Nelson, Pam Plum, and Kathie Truxall.

Below, team members can be seen hard at work on the porch outside the event club house where they constructed the decorations.
